What do you think about them? I bought one for my Z because my plastic one was broken. I paid 100 bucks for a shiny peice of metal and I'm not really sure if I'm diggin it... Should I keep it or sell it ? Post pics if you got one and think it looks good.

I prefer the sleeper look. ;)
Im not much of an under hood "bling" kind of guy.
Im sure it would look good on a pro-street kind of car though.

I like mine, don't mind the temporary intake in the pic :)

I'm not under hood bling either I'm just starting to try to clean up my engine bay. I guess I'll keep it under there to matched my polished fuel rails one day, unless somebody gives me a good offer for it. ;)

If your not happy with it, list it for a bite more than you think it's worth and if someone buys it then you can go pick up a stock piece somewhere.

Hmm, I have another plastic one from the junk yard off a V6 that I was thinking about painting black and using that.

They were. When the kid and I were putting the hood back on, he put them that way. They are for a TA too, it sits lower and doesnt raise as high as the Z ones :)

Scuff and paint to match? Just an idea.

Paint the stainless one black? Hmm, I painted the plastic one gloss black and it still looks fugly. I think I'm gonna keep the stainless. If I ever decide to sell it I'll post it up. :D

Not a fan. I always thought that chrome stuff looks cheap unless the entire engine is done up.

I'm the opposite... Chrome looks cheap WHEN the entire engine is done up. If it's a couple chrome accents here and there, it looks great. Too much chrome just looks silly. IMO, chrome is an accent, not a main color.
(That is, unless you meant the entire engine done done up as in painted and cleaned; not necessarily everything chromed)
