After hearing multiple stories today of cars getting stolen including Drew's 96 Firebird, I've been looking into getting a GPS tracking device. Are there any suggestions as to what to look at? I've seen some with OBDII caps that you plug into your obd port, but my car runs off OBDI (95). Recently I've been looking at this: http://www.brickhousesecurity.com/product/eon+gps+asset+tracker.do You can magnetically stick it under your car and it is motion activated. When activated, it will report location every 5 minutes. It can track location for 90-120 days on a single charge. It also has tamper alert. Any thoughts?

I like the idea but its a little on the pricy side. But in nine sight I'm sure it would be the $300 you wish you would of spent in the event your car gets stolen.

That's what I'm thinking. I'll bet when people get their project stolen they wish they had installed a GPS device more than anything. Better to be safe than sorry.
