I won't be too far from "Horsepower Hotel" this year - staying on 78th street as of now. Add me to the list, my only request is that we avoid the heavily trafficked areas/ls1tech meet locations/car show areas/etc. Traffic on a hot day is not a good scenario for my TBSS.

A local speed shop is havin a gtg friday at this hooters at 2. Im thinkin if we all roll in there and have our meet at 1230 we will be in and set up before its packed and we can check out the shit that comes in from there. Its out of town by a couple miles at KEISER POINT ROAD and OCEAN GATEWAY.

For those that cant make it by then... keep in touch and follow this and Ill do my best to keep u posted for any other opportunities... but with the INLET show...the CONVENTION CENTER show and numerous group functions on friday and say... this was really all there was. Well, unfortunately I won't be coming down in an LT1 car. Not for a lack of trying......a brief update to anyone who might be following: my car is under major construction, my younger brother is also an LT1 owner (97SS with 40k original miles) who's car hasn't been running for about 6-months due to lack of funds. So I decided to loan my brother some money and fix his car and bring it down. It needed a water pump and Opti spark. So did the install, drove it to my house last night, car ran great but was running a little hotter than it should have been with a 160 stat. Put on my spare set of drag radials, drove the car this morning back to my brothers house to get my truck and go to work. So on the way down the car starts running hotter and hotter, about 240. So I get it to my brothers and have him flush the radiator while I went to work because the coolant was pretty nasty looking. So I go to my brothers after work and he follows me to my house or I should say tries. The damn thing still was getting hot. So to make a long story short I trailered it to my house for further diagnosis. I believe it has a blown head gasket getting compression in the coolant system. I will pressure test it tomorrow but I'm pretty sure that's the problem. So I'll be there but not in a LT car.

So I get it to my brothers and have him flush the radiator while I went to work because the coolant was pretty nasty looking. So I go to my brothers after work and he follows me to my house or I should say tries. The damn thing still was getting hot. So to make a long story short I trailered it to my house for further diagnosis. I believe it has a blown head gasket getting compression in the coolant system. I will pressure test it tomorrow but I'm pretty sure that's the problem. So I'll be there but not in a LT car.

Nice meeting you to! I think last year was CRAZY. I think thats why there was so many cops this year. If you havent been to the fall show your really missing out. The fall is almost as big and the weather is way better. You should look into booking something.

Took about 30-35 hours for the part to arrive at a local garage in Selbyville so I missed out on a couple of the meets I wanted to attend. Including this one. I still wore my shirt proudly though lol. Glad you all had a good time! I had fun Friday night but Saturday was a big bummer.
