TTS Datamaster stopped working on my laptop, and I have removed it, rebooted, reinstalled and when I click to open the program I get the popup window that says "Datamaster has stopped working" Check for solutions online and close options.
That is as far as I cam getting. Thanks for any help or ideas anyone can provide.
Running Windows 7, and it worked on this computer last summer with no problems.

Is that one of the programs that have to be run in compatibility mode?

Just gave that a shot. Still the same STOPPED WORKING window. Gonna try to remove and reinstall again.

What I've done in the past with older programs is run the main install file in compatibility mode first then after it installs, set the program to run in compatibility mode and "run as administrator". Can't remember if datamaster needed CM or not though...

I was going to suggest running as administrator and seeing if that worked.

I still got nothing! Was getting ready so when I order my wideband on the first I could get to logging. Still messing with it.

Have you installed anything new on the computer. I've moved datamaster from a old pc to my new laptop with windows 7. It still runs.

Nothing I can think of. I really only use for the web, tunerpro, datamaster and Skype when I'm on the road. I know it worked back in June because I was looking at a DTC on the car.
Running sfc /scannow and chkdsk

maybe clear it out of the register.

Got it fixed. Went through an old Vette forum to get the old 3.4 version. 4.1 has problems with Windows 7.
If anybody else runs into this, I downloaded the older 3.4 from http://web.archive.org/web/20011212092406/http://www.ttspowersystems.com/dm_dload.htm
