The auto Tq Arm had more holes in it and is thinner than the M6 arm...HOWEVER, they both will bolt up...how are they not lining up right? The open side (or inside) should be facing the driveshaft. How do you have the rear end lifted up?

I was wondering about that. I noticed my dads m6 ta seemed heavier and it looks like its actually got an plate welded on in the middle for strength that I never noticed on my other ones

Depending on the year... I found that there are different mounts that were used.

I left my stock 6spd TA mount at the garage... if I can find it and it was not thrown out... you can have it if you pay shipping.

yeah, the M5 arms are stiffer and stronger, but the mounting holes should be exactly the same. I had an auto arm on my M6 for a short period of time and had no issue mounting it up...

and the car was on a lift, the kind that has the swinging arms, would that throw this out of wack?
