Formula or Trans Am Look?

Alright I have been thinking about the look for my car and for the longest time I thought I knew what I wanted... now I am not so sure.

I am getting ready to start looking at putting back on some of the Formula Stuff I removed to swap out with Trans Am Items.

I have an RK Sport WS6 Hood which i still want to keep but I also did the Trans Am Front Bumper with Fogs, Fenders (One of mine had a rip and this way i would not have to make holes for the Side Skirts which I decided to not put on) and the Rear Bumper.

The more I look at the Formula's I just keep rethinking it. (I also did the Rear hatch but a Fiberglass one, that i def want to keep I like it plus I will have an easier time with my Project of trying to put on the 78-82 rear spoiler I am getting.)

I am starting to like both the front and rear bumpers on the Formula again... so i am not sure what to think.

The rear bumper has not been painted but the front is and I no longer have a formula front bumper.

Could I see some pictures of different Formula's with say just the front bumper from a TA and the WS6 Hood as well as ones with the Formula Bumper and WS6 hood but the TA Rear?

I am going to change it tomorrow when I do my Water Pump Seal but for now I want to see what others are doing and what they think.

I have a Hooker Rear Exhaust with the SLP Tips but they do not stick out they end right at the bumper line but side shots of anything sim would be great too.

A formula with a WS6 hood and a T/A wing is sleek and bad ass!

I do not have the front currently but I have been thinking that myself too... or atleast just the Formula front...

I have been trying to search for pics even on LS1tech... not having a lot of luck.

Well I found a few shots of the Formula hatch with the TA Rear bumper and the TA Hatch with the Formula Rear Bumper... I think i pref my TA Hatch and the TA Rear Bumper but no Side Skirts... plus I think I want to trade my TA Front Bumper and Fogs for a Formula Front again. Thats the look I think I want now.

(Just have to find someone to trade me locally, you can even have the TA Fenders so you do not have to drill holes)

I personally like everything about the exterior of the T/A's better. They look more bad ass IMO.

I like the formula better in lt1 cars and the trans am better in the ls1 cars.
But everyone has opinions and we all no how the saying goes.

They both look good..but I think the T/A has more of a aggressive look to it! But its up to you and what u like.

go for the LT1 WS6 T/A look... best looking 4th gen imho

i took these at the indy bash. that is a 94 formula FWIW

i gotta say i'm biased though and prefer the T/A look like this car that was also there :D

as for having the T/A rear bumper without the side skirts, i don't think that would flow very well. the front/rear T/A bumper have mini skirts built into them so that it looks like the side skirts continue all the way to the back of the car. without them i think it'd look weird

I love the way that Formula looks. Now if I could only see it with a TA Rear Bumper.

i used to be big on the lt1 T/a look but ever since kyle with the silver and blue flamed formula posted picsim not so sure. formula wing stock ram air hood.

Ws6 formula looks like a bullet, weighs less, and is more aerodynamic.............
Why would you want a TA? JK!

But no one has done the Formula with the WS6 Hood and TA Rear Bumper leaving everything else? I can not find pictures of anyone doing it... I am really interested in seeing that because today i just might go ahead and switch to my Formula Rear if I do not like the look, I am def trading my TA Front Bumper to go back to the Formula's front bumper.

I hate ground effects though lol. I have them but I hate them. I currently have the TA front and TA Rear but I think I am going to switch back to the white rear Formula Bumper and work on trading for a Formula Front. I will just keep the TA Rear Around to test with or unless I find someone to trade who has some nice items I want lol.

yeah i agree with you... while that formula did look pretty good with the T/A spoiler and ws6 hood, it basically just looks like a 1997 firehawk because in 97 slp ran out of firehawk hoods and since they were going to the LS1 the next year they didnt make more so they just used the same hood they were using on the WS6, and the T/A spoiler was optional on 1996/1997 firehawks.. i still think the T/A looks much better, especially the 96-97 WS6 which is why i added the hood to my car (i looked at a few online back in the day but $10k-$12k for what was essentially a 1 year newer car with a hood and wheels and ram air didn't seem worth double what i got my car for ($6k) especially when they had basically the same miles as my car did.

I got my Formula Front Bumper again. However seeing that rear... I really do like it. I am not sure now I just think it makes the rear look meaner, fuller.

i love the car it`s set up like mines now just got the T/A wing. but mines has a lt1 in it and real ZO6 wheels on it with big fat meats out back. i need to take a pic and post it up
