So i have a mis at idle i figured it was a bad plug wire and i did find one so i replaced them and have a slight improvement the car also seems to idle a bit lower than normal when it's hot after a beat run i haven't touched this opti in 4summers of high rpm duties im wondering if it might just need a cap and rotor.

Are you throwing any codes? I wouldn't replace the opti otherwise...

Well I've drove the shit out of it and no codes still pulls like a freight train idle is back up im not sure what is causing this miss but it have a feeling it has to do with the opti cap and rotor . I'll fugure it out sooner than later.

How long ago did you replace the cap and rotor or the entire opti? If it's been quite a while, I think changing the cap and rotor would be a good idea, just make sure to thread lock the rotor screws, seal the cap with RTV and properly install it back :) The Accel cap and rotor kit is 60 bucks
