Most people get one built. I believe that Strange still sells them but I could be wrong. You NEVER want to shorten the stock driveshaft. The whole point of buying a S60 is that the rear-end is going to take some serious abuse, and the stock driveshaft will not live up to it anyways, so it's a good investment to upgrade that as well. I run a 3" chromoly made locally by the place that builds some of Denny's Driveshafts. I paid right around 300 bucks iirc.
