How many tickets have you gotten?

Thought this would be an interesting thread. Suprisingly, I've never had a ticket that held up. When I had my old, slow ass V6 Camaro, I got a ticket for the exhaust system on it (Magnaflow). I took it to a shop, a guy looked it over, and passed it, so the ticket didnt hold up. I've been pulled over several times before though in both my old, slow ass V6 Camaro, and my Formula for exhaust. 4 times in the Camaro, and only 1 time in the Formula. The Police officer was pretty cool about the whole situation with my Formula. It happened just 2 weeks ago. He pulled me over, asked me what kind of exhaust I had (I even admitted to the Pasesetter LT's and ORY :doh:), and he said it sounded nice, but to just keep it down a little. He ran my license, and sent me on my way.

47 in a 30 (dropped to non moving violation)

45 in a 30 (he let me go)

70 in a 30 (but he didn't clock me so he gave me excessive speeding ticket, dropped to a non moving)

103 in a 65 (yea... lol got dropped to 70 in a 65)

70 in a 35 (he let me go)

70 in a 45 (was actually racing and going 100+ but he didn't clock me almost got arrested for that one)

No front license plate (pulled over 3 times for that and finally the third time I got the ticket)

Pulled over for unsafe start (drifted the car around a corner... he let me off)

Following too closely (dick georgia trooper... other cars saw the cops using their radars so they slowed down to 60 in a 70 in which all the cars got closer and I got pulled over, ended up giving me a warning)

I think that's all of them, might be a couple I'm forgetting

Mind you, none of my speeding tickets were in traffic and a couple I was not going as fast as they claimed.

But I haven't been pulled over in a couple years (I'm 22)

Pulled over for:
- No license plate light
- Expired license plate (sticker had been ordered online, and receipt was in glovebox. It was expired by 3 days)
- No tail light
- No brake light
- Headlight out (found out about it from a buddy and rode his ass on the way home but a cop happened to notice from the other direction and caught me because he was bored and saw a f-body on a friday/saturday night)

Never received a ticket.

Got my first ticket ever in the T/A last thursday 77 in a 55..the sheriff waited to pull me over when I was about 30 feet away from my driveway

1.) 79 in a 65
2.) 68 in a 50
3.) Reckless Driving- I was the last one to do a donut in an empty parking lot at about 1 AM. I should have known lol.
4.) Exhibition of Speed- I was racing my manager's Malibu. I got pulled over and he pulled in behind me. He's older (33), so he didn't get a speech or a ticket. The cop never said shit to him. You can bet I got a 10 minute long speech about racing, though.

That's all my tickets. I've been pulled over a few more times than that, though. As of last month, I've had a clean record for 2 years, which makes me happy. Paying $150+ a month for liability sucks.

Im a small white dude and a big black state trooper pulled me over. Well he found a little pot and a pipe in the car. Then he searched..... (i was with my ex GF on the way home from a porn store) He found some new lube and some toys during the search.LOL! Ended up giving me a ticket for 99 in a 55 making me dump my pot on the ground and throwing my pipe as far as i could off the side of the hwy.
Best part is he never showed to court and it got totally dropped!!!!

22-28 84 tickets small story,my friend and i had a wall in our shop called The Wall of Fame and The Wall of Shame...
Fame was for tickets we got out of,when we stopped the wall i had 71 that i got out of and 13 i got pinned with.tickets ranged from equip. violations to flat out haulin balls.....back then you paid the fine and went on your way,no suspension of DL..... truth be told LOL we would intensionally get pulled over just to see if we could get out of it!

Damn son! I've never gotten a ticket, Only a DUI and two jail sentencings, one of those having to do with the dui and the other im not gunn get into. (Im 20)

July 03- C&I driving... complete BS because I was aware the cop was behind me and was paying full attention to the road but the asshole still pulls me over. It was 2:45 in the morning and in MO, there is a restriction for 16&17 year olds that can't be out between 1-5am unless school or work permitted. I got a loitering ticket when I was like 18, never paid it but never got a warrant, so I'm assuming the cop never turned it in. And about a year ago I got a no seatbelt ticket. Ten bucks for that one haha.

~3 no front plate

I know I've had more... but none were moving, so I don't care. I think the cops don't want to give out 3+ tickets, so if I have those basics expired... they skip the speeding ticket :D

Been pulled over for speeding and running stop signs multiple times but never got a ticket.

Ok here we go, lets hope I dont jinx myself.... Also, when I speed its on the highway with nobody around or a nice long stretch with nobody around. I try to keep it safe.

Never EVER had any kind of speeding ticket, but this is the shit I got out of :D

Potentially BAD tickets :

- WAY back in my black TA (2000ish?) I blew by a cop that was sitting on the side of the road going at least 100-110 in a 45. Cop must have been asleep or eating, because he dident chase! (And I KNOW he heard me, Pacesetter LTs/ORY/Hooker catback)

- Recently (beginning of this season?) blew by a cop slowing down from a nice 3 gear pull, he came by in the other lane just as I was slowing down (from around 100, to about 75 before he passed.... Limit is 45). He also did not chase for some reason, no idea why.

Stupid Tickets :

- No front license plate on my old Toyota Tercel, something like $35.00

- Driving with Fog Lights on in my old TA (Yes, apparently its illegal some places.... And before you ask, YES it was a foggy morning :D). He gave me some BS and let me go.

If I think of more, I will add.... I think thats it though.....

The total I have gotten is 12.
I havent gotten any in a while.. most of them happened in 2006 so I had to have my license suspended cuz it was over 12pts in 12months.

I used to get warnings alot and than one day a state trooper wrote me a ticket for hauling ass around a u turn and sliding and than I kept getting nailed that year.

Edit: I forgot about the 3 at one time I got like 5 months ago.

Went to court about the last 3 and the strait pipe and excesive noise were dropped and the other one (class 2 misdomeaner) got dropped to a $50 fine. Douchbag officer dropped the f bomb right when he got to my car so that didn't help him and in the state of Virginia it's not illegal to not have a muffler, just a cat (and I have one, kinda) that's it for me...

June 2001: 90 in a 55. 3 months after getting the WS6. Lost my license for 15 days and then my insurance company dropped me. This one was B.S. I was on a 6 lane highway, 3 lanes each way. I was in the middle of a pack of at least 10 other cars and we were all getting passed on the right by a green Ford Taurus that was going well over 100. A-hole Tredyffrin Twp cop singles me out of the pack and gives me a bag of shit. Guess he didnt like my car.

January 2005: 80 in a 55. I actually blew by the cop in excess of 110. It was about 1am. He said he was doing well over 130 to catch me, and finally "clocked" me with VASCAR at 86 when he was tailing me and I was slowing down. Wrote a ticket for 86, then crossed out the 86 and wrote it for 80, so I wouldnt lose my license. He was cool about it and joked around with me for a few minutes and complimented me on the car before setting me on my way.

got one for running a yellow light that went red as i was crossing the line in my old tbird SC, took that one to a ticket clinic to get rid of it (FL)

and got one for "failure to control vehicle to prevent accident" in the Tbird for a stupid accident where the cops had moved some wrecked cars off the road and left a big pile of antifreeze in the road which i slid in while braking because someone in front of me slammed on the brakes.. i slid for a good 15-20 ft at low speed (10 or so?) and rear ended them. since it was an SUV it screwed up the front of my car pretty good, Also in FL on university going under 595 in davie/plantation. pics can be seen below

LOL!! they have done that to me too.. one night I was doing donuts in the target parkin lot and he was like '' I CAN ARREST YOU RIGHT NOW IF I WANT TO'' I was thinking uhmmm its really not a big deal LOL. novemeber 2007- 72 in a 50. reduced to 59 in a 50.
april 2008- 74 in a 55. got a lawyer and used PJC.

I came extremely close to getting one last thursday..

I was on my way to work, and I see a 350Z and a Evo comming up fast on the highway.. So I was like "SCORE!!!". I've seen the evo around before, and its pretty quick, but I havent ever seen the 350Z around prior to that. I'm pretty sure the evo was running low 12's at the track, so it would have beaten me, but I think me and the 350Z would have been a pretty good race since it appeared to be stock. I dont really know what they run at the track, but I imagine it wouldnt be anything that much faster than my Formula.

They both go past me, and I move over to follow, but wasnt accelerating that fast... And wouldnt you know, there was a police officer sitting right in the median. The 350Z slams on his brakes and the evo soon followed. He pulls out onto the highway, and I get off at the next exit since I had to get to work, but he didnt have his lights on. He was probibly lookin/waiting for them to do something stupid since he didnt technically catch us doing anything wrong. I would have stayed around to play with them, but with a police officer following, that would have been pretty hard. lol.

It could have ended pretty bad. lol

Donuts are how I got my wreckless driving ticket. The cop came up to the window and asked for license/insurance. Right after that he said, "and I AM giving you a ticket." What a supercop. They didn't do shit when we really needed their help after some ATVs got stolen. Nothing but a traffic cop.

It was a mandatory court appearance and it got reduced to Drag Racing. Unfortunately, Drag Racing is only a cheaper ticket. Its still the same amount of points on my license and its just as bad as far as insurance goes.


It really sucked when I was looking for a job and employers wanted an MVR. Sucked getting dropped from my insurance company as well. I just make sure I don't get caught now :devil:.
