then the reply is now from lucy lui lucyliu200@gmail.com .....and she writes to me

Holy cow. So I put an add up on CL for a roommate. Here the first reply I received.

It dont work....

I had one of those saying they would send me WHATEVER price I wanted for my "ITEM" as long as it was in good condition. At the time I had heavily advertised my motorcycle for sale..... I figured, Ok, I will play along....
I wrote back some fake infomation, and used my work address (which is a PD) and made a price of $50,000 for the bike....

I received a "certified check." For shits and giggles, I showed the Chief, and we laughed about it. Out of curiosity, I took it to the bank in my twp, and filled them in. I asked what would happen if a regular person did come in to deposit the check, and were going to cut a refund check for the difference (longer story, but I was supposed to send back some money with my motorcycle......).

Anyways..... They called it for a fake as soon as I pulled it out of the envelope.... but to me. It looked real.
