Hi there, I have a built 4l60e from my 1994. Its basically new with 2000 street miles and Im coverting to a t56 so could make you a deal for everything needed. Its a level 3 build from FLT, Yank SS converter, SFI flexplate, aluminum pan with drainplug, B&M cooler, Autometer C2 temp Gauge and all the conversion parts.

Its all in the car right now so can take a video for you of everything running. Its all perfect!

PM me for all the details. I also check my email constantly....cspiridis@hotmail.com

Lou, FLT builds a really good trans. They are by me and handle good power. Since your car is a 93, only thing is you would need to convert to obd1 pcm for 94-95 which is easy to do with some parts. Would open up an easier way to tune your car too. I have done a few and if you go this route, let me know and I can walk you through it.

Local guys are running their trans in some very high powered cars around here with no issues. One is north of 1000 hp. FYI, their transmissions cost a lot of cash depending on what you go with. Now of you want to say go with a th400 set up with a trans brake, I have a guy we use around here who only builds racing transmissions and crews for a lot of teams. I can get you a great deal.... He is about to go through my Rossler th350 for me.

J, I am so torn, my car sees the trqack maybe 4 times a year, I love my t56 but wit my rreally bad back I can't do it anymore amnd enjoy the car, so I want a trans I can launch hard on but still be very streetable, I would like an auto that has to b shifted and would like a brake, and I really don't want to change out pcm's. I am getting opinions and pricing stuff out right now and if the right deal comes along I'll grab it, I'm not in a rush so the ball is in my park...lol...any idea what a 400 would cost from your guy with a decent converter and flexplate etc?

Trans is around $1800, Neal chance converter $1200, sfi flex plate $65-$100, b&m stealth pro ratchet shifter $290. Keep the stock computer and use abs sensor and calc revolutions and program the computer so speedo still works, or have him install a tail shaft with correct vss sensor. Modify or get new drive shaft. New peddles. Trans brake button and wiring. By the time you sell your set up you should come out of pocket too much. It's nice to just tap the shifter into each gear.

94....I'm going to pass on the 460... thanks for your trouble

J them prices are correct I'm sure but out of my range, as I said I'm in no rush so I'll just keep feelers out for a 400 someone is selling, (take my chances)

No worries. Good luck with whatever swap you choose to do.

If you know anybody looking for a setup like this let me know. As said before FLT is awesome and I want it to go to a good home :)

A 9" tail turbo350 is the exact same length as a 4L60. Get a 9" tail th350 and a fitz-all kit to adapt the th350 to a 4L60 application. The kit will contain a spacer that mates a 4L tail to the back of a th350. By using the 4L tail, the crossmember never changes and the torque arm mount never changes. A full manual vb th350 will run you anywhere from $750 on up to $$$$$$$$$$$$. If you want a brake add another $400 or so. If you want a lower 1st gear add another $300 or so. A GOOD converter will run you $750 minimum. The fitz-all kit is usually around $150. You will also need a new dipstick. Madamn sells a GREAT dipstick for 4th gens that is $75ish.

The good news is that you can sell your t56 stuff and pretty much break even. Your car will be faster at the track too.
