So heres the setup..
383 ltx 11.5:1 comp
cc 306 with 1.6 rockers
lt4 heads ported
edelbrock air gap "lt4" intake
Arizona speed and marine 58mm throttle body
42lb injectors
stock pcm and ignition
pacesetter long tubes to a 3" offroad y to a dynomax bullet dumped
stock rebuilt 4l60e with a shift kit and 3400 vigilante converter
QA1 front struts and springs, rear QA1 adjustable shocks with eibach pro springs, Spohn adjustable LCA's, Spohn adjustable panhard bar, Spohn relocation brackets, and spohn 3 point SFC's
rear end is a stock 10 bolt with 3.73s..
car weights in at 3345 without me in it. It will have 28 11.50 et streets and skinnies on it so it will be lighter because that weight was with my 17s..what do you think needs to be upgraded or changed besides the rear end? have a 12 bolt being narrowed with 4.56s in the works! Also what do you think is would put down for dyno numbers after a tune?

Depends on a ton of stuff. I don't see you getting very far with that stock 10-bolt rear to be honest. You're undergeared with a 28" tire and 3.73s, so that's not helping.
By the sound of it you're currently running on the stock tune, which is incredibly bad for your bottom end.
Who ported the heads?
Why the 306? There are far better performers out there.
I'd say if everything is running right in good air mid 11s and around 400whp wouldn't be out of the question, but you have some issues to contend with first.

tune coming as soon as i finish up the nitrous setup then gonna have all that squared away...10 bolt will be replaced probably within a month or so and i cant remember if its a 4.88 or 4.56 either way that will make up for the gears and got a good deal on the cam will be changed out soon once i think ive found the limit of it...the tune is actually from a different h/c setup so it shouldnt be too rough on it..11's on motor is fine just about where i want to be on motor before i spray it with this setup!

If you value your motor you won't run it on a borrowed tune.

mail order is much cheaper than 400.
At least it will be closer.

Agreed with above mid 11's around 400 rwhp. I'd look into getting a set of 26'' tires if your gonna stay with a 3.73. Also how much NO2 are you planning on using? You can kill an engine really fast spraying too much on an N/A tune especially if it's not correct for the car to begin with. I know this isn't the info you were lookin for, we're just trying to save you headache's and $ down the road!

oh it will have a bottle tune in it im actually pulling the intake and plumbing a fogger on it within the next few weeks and ill have my stand alone fuel system done by then also and let me rephrase the tune issue its for this car and cam and everything just a base tune but it had stock ported lt1 heads instead of the ported lt4 heads it still needs to be dyno tuned is what i meant sorry for the confusion..i may have the rear end by the time the 28's go on since there isnt a track open around close...have 275/40 17s for now drag radials sittin around just dont wanna put em on for no reason..

Not to jack this thread but if you guys think this would run mid 11s, what do you think this setup would be?
Forged 383, 12:3 compression. LE2 heads and intake. Custom cam similar specs to a GM847, 4.10 gears in and S60. Drag Radials 555R in 275,40,17s.
6 speed, sfc, lca, relocation brackets, panhard bar, adjustable shocks/struts on all 4, torque arm. ect. ect.

Getting the drag radials to hook is gonna be your biggest problem assuming you can sixty foot and your tune is good mid to low 11's are possible. Also depends on vehicle weight, shift rpm, and driver ability. Being an M6, making your suspension work and seat time will be your friend!

I wouldn't spray it not even the 1st time without a custom tune specifically for your car, I am a firm believer in a good tune. I have seen them do wonders and I have seen them put cars in the garage. I am the first one to tell you I love some spray but do it safely, do it with all the proper safety features, I am personally not a fan of nitrous tunes as you have to retard timing and they run like a dog on motor when you aren't spraying. As for your ET's I would suggest a rear drag bar, and TQ arm, the stock TQ flexes and the stock sway bar can't plant the car like you are wanting to do. I agree with the 26' tall tire with the 3.73.
You mentioned not having the $$ for the tune right now but have a N20 set up coming, save your money and have ut tuned correctly or it may not be your DD is the reality, think about it this way you could have identically H/C set up but every car is different and your car may want something different. Just friendly advise, spraying your car on a borrowed tune may not have a good outcome.

no no no im just gonna have it all finished and ready then it will be getting a custom tune for the car the one in it now was just a base tune to get it driving not raced on..im not new to nitrous by any means but i am new to tuning which im about to try my hand at for my car on motor and see how it does if i cant get it right on motor i will spend the money and take it and have it tuned on motor then they will back the timing down for nitrous and then i shall start leaning her out and add a little timing until im satisfied then we will final tune it at the track!!
