The LT1 That Could

So I was under the impression the Hypertech programmer I was selling was for 94/95 LT1 cars. Guy bought it for his 94 T/A. Different connector...OBDI...I did not know this. Is there an adapter out there to make the programmer work for this guy???
Looking at maybe something like this...http://www.obd2allinone.com/sc/details.asp?item=aldlobd1
Are the PCMs the same? They communicate the same way? Both OBDI PCMs...Wouldn't it just need the proper adapter?
Any help is appreciated!

Well, just talked to Hypertech and they said no workie...even with OBDI adapter. Said the programmer won't talk to the PCM. FAIL!

I've never owned a hypertech but I have tuned 94 and 95 lt1 pcms with the same program (tunercat). I have the cable with the 16 pin connector for the 95 and to program the 94 I just spliced in a spare 16 pin aldl port to the 12. It was just 2 wires.

I was thinking the same thing; that the PCMs were both the same as far as programming went. I know LT1 Edit works the same way. 94 AND 95. Maybe it's something in the Hypertech that won't communicate correctly.

The Data signal on his 94 ALDL connector is on pin M. This needs to go to pin 9 on your 95 ALDL connector and ground (pin A on his 94 connector) needs to go to pin 4 on your 95 connector.
It can be done with 2 jumpers.
