Hows this for a cool ride home?

So Im leaving the PD today.... and enjoying the vette with the targa top off (yesterday was the first time removing it....)

Ok, enough of that.... ANYWHOOOOOOO.....

So Im sitting at the entrance to the highway (SR100) lighting a smoke when something orange catches my eye.... By the time I take my second take to see what it was, I realize Im being passed by one of my child hood heros..... So now, its on....

I fly out, and try to catch up to it, and fire up my phones camera......

FINALLY, we catch a light, I roll up next to him, and cant stop smiling... I feel like Im 5 again.... Im snapping more pics, and talking to the guy... He's freakin awesome, telling me the build took him 5 years to get RIGHT.

The light turns green , and I get infront of him.... Need the FRONT shot of the GENERAL of course...

He follows me for a bit... then I turn off, and he turns off behind me..... I make a turn, then he goes straight.... Knowing the area pretty well, I step up the pace, because I know where he is going to be popping out.... and like CLOCKWORK......

Back out behind me, I cant stop but hear Waylon Jennings in my ear saying some PRE-COMMERCIAL "DUKE BOY" comment........

I was actually watching an ep on DVD earlier :jest:

as a little kid, i remember my parents stopping at a truck stop somewhere in illinois and a General Lee replica parked right next to us. it was so cool. i was a bit dissappointed when the guy opened the door to get out though, lol.

somewhere i have pics from the traveling indoor car show in the mid 80s that had the general lee and KITT and a bunch of other cars (world of wheels maybe?) with me standing right by the general lee (inside the velvet rope, lol)

Nah.... cameras are not my gig.... the pics are big enough for me and if you cant find the bright orange car, maybe you need a computer with a bigger monitor.....

Hell Yeah it did... the only thing better wouldve been a lil exhibition of speed against the General Lee!!!! While being video taped from K.I.T.T and having the A-team referee the race, with Ponch and John being the cops that pulled us over....

if yall r ever in nashville, theres a museum across the street from opryland hotel called cooters, that has a few cool things inside and out. they have a geo replica thats bad a$$ lol. they got a couple charger replicas and the tow truck too.

FYI, that's not a Z06, it's a ZR1 as you can see the engine cover and glass hole in the hood.
