Finally made up my mind to do away with converting my Impala into a drag car. Just too darn heavy and comfy. :heart: I ended up purchasing a 1974 Chevy Nova roller for $2800. Car has custom subframe connectors, Ford 9" with a spool and 4.56 gears, jesgstars, M/T Et drags 28x10.5, 8 point cage, traction bars, custom leaf springs, fuel and ignition systems etc. I have installed lexan front and rear windows and started cleaning it up. Car needs a rear quarter skin and some TLC. But I feel its the perfect candidate for some LTx power. Was running 7.7xx's in the 8th with a mild Iron on Iron 350 @2900 lbs. Hoping for low 6's with the new engine.
