Dear god help: crashed pcm?

Hey guys, in need of Some help!
I was trying to pull the tune off my 94/95 pcm using winflash, and midway through I got an 8201 error and it closed the program. Now my car will fire up but not stay running. Also tuner pro wont connect.
The laptop and car had good battery power, and I tried to reset the pcm by disconnecting the battery for 15. Still no dice.
any help for a kid that wants to enjoy summer?

I would try loading a new tune. If that didn't work, I'd buy a new PCM. Then I'd curse windows for sucking so much schlong.

I cant load a tune to it, because it wont allow me to connect to the pcm (unless you know another way of flashing it?)

And to buy a new one is in that 270 price range...my ca ris a 97 and i bought the conversion OBD1 conversion peice from Ion

When every I have ever fried my computer... the car would not even start.... it would only crank..... Are you sure that is the problem.

Im just throwing that out there, unless there are different ways to fry a computer. Maybe contact Ion and see what it costs.....

BTW, what is the OBD1 converson that costs that much.... I get new computers with 3 year warranties for under 200 bucks (with no tunes at all in them, still have to go get flashed) from a place we have here called AMS....

Mine are OBD2... but the cost is the same , because I looked at converting my car and all it was was a computer and knock sensor to do the swa...

The car will crank over and even fire up, but it wont run, you cant give it any throttle to keep it going, it just fires up and dies.
The OBD1 thing i bought is plug and play with the 97 car, but is setup so i can rune the obd1 tuning programs with it.
I think you can do the same deal if you switch out sensors and use an obd1 pcm, but i didnt want to mess with sensors and the like i wasnt positive about.

It could be a long shot, but did you check your fuses? I think a couple of them are related to the PCM, but I'm not sure if that would cause your issue or not
