has anyone disabled this I have a 94 lt1 always use 93 bad idea?

What the heck do you mean "always use 93"?
Be a bit more descriptive. You'll get a much more helpful response.

he thinks that if he uses 93 octane gas he does not have to worry about knock.

you don't want to disable the knock sensor, just have sensitivity tuned down. you are waaaay off base if you think just because you use 93 octane you won't have knock. do more research.

^ Ah. Thanks for the translation.

OP - Get ahold of an LT4 knock module for your PCM. That should chill things out a bit. DON'T disable your knock sensor completely. It's insurance for your motor.
