As I am gearing up for my dual exhaust build up, I have been pondering lately if I should get my ECM tuned.
My WS6 is basically bolt on, only major mods are
LTs w/high flow cats
1.65 RRs w/ Beehives
MSD opti
the rest is stock, or "upgraded" stock
would I benefit from a tune, as in gas mileage/efficiency/performance?

A tune is as necessary as your headers.
A tune will give you more power. If you don't like power don't get one. A stock car can benefit from a tune.

I wouldn't say it will, but it can. It can also do the opposite if it's a bad tune.

So far Solomon (lt1pcmtuning.com) and Bryan (pcmforless) have gotten back to me
nobody has answered my emails.
both of them answered pretty much all of my questions, so now I just have to decide who to use.
Bryan told me that he has seen ceramic coated headers adversely affect o2 sensors, I had never heard of that before, weird.
Anyways pcmforless wants $175 and lt1pcmtuning wants $120

Did you check with MOEHorsepower? While my bolt-on PCM4Less tune seems good (had to send back for a stall wall issue even though they were told about my stall before hand). Friends of mine with h/c LT1 have not been happy with their mail order tunes, but now it seems as though Moe has them all fixed up. I have no experience with Solomon.
