97 engine in with 94 trans??? any issues??

Doing my LTX Firebird swap this week and bought an AWESOME RUNNING LT1 from LT1POWER on another board. Wondering if we will have any issues with the tuning. We got the entire harness, the engine complete, and the ECM, which has a PCM4LESS tune in it for the engine. RAN AWESOME before we pulled it out and just want the same results for the Firebird.

Questions are these??

Will the trans still shift correctly being we are using a different year engine??

Or will it be easier to go with a turbo 350 and send the ECM back for not trans signal at all??

i read a similar scenario on another forum and from what i read You will need to swap valve bodies. with shift solenoids and the tailshaft w/ sensor.
