slight differences between the two years. Are you putting a 93 engine in a 94 car or the other way around? I would recommend that you continue using the computer for the year of the chassis and wiring harnesses you already have.

theres a ton involved with the swap and with the tunability with the moates apu1 would not suggest it(if thats waht your looking to get). for starteres i dont believe any of your gauges will work, it would be a complete wiring swap since the 94 has a pcm and not an ecm. there really isnt any reason for it unless you want a MAF system, but alot of guys running a MAF system are converting over to speed density anyway. in my opinion your running backwards. just my .02

No im just looking to get away from burning chips and to be able to find some one who can tune my car locally. The car is a 93 and since my harness is in pretty bad sape i thought maybe i could just swap but its not sounding that way

I went from a 93-94 harness.
What you will need (off the top of my head)
MAF
IAC (or just a whole tb off a 94-05 was easier to find)
Computer
Harness
I dont recall if I needed a new knock sensor.
My car was ram air so it was easy to hook up to the maf.

MAF is not 100% necessary. If you're going to be getting tuned, just tune for SD and screw the MAF (don't lose your SD roots my friend :-) ). If you want to avoid the headaches and cost with swapping the wiring alltogether, check out Moates.net He has a few solutions to keep your current setup and not have to burn chips (APU1 and Osterich). Just throwing this out there so you know all your options.

Need heated o2's as well. Just a few wiring changes inside as well but pretty easy. Takes a couple hours to do the whole job.

What are the cpl changes inside? I was looking at doing the same swap for ease of tuning since I have access to a few shops local to me that can dyno tune.
