I was just wondering if I would see a noticeable difference by changing my 3.23's to 3.73's. I have a M6 car, but it was originally an A4 so it has the GU5 door code, meaning 3.23's right? Would this swap be worth the money?

since you have an M6 now, why not 4.10:confused:
but yes, i think you'd definitely feel a difference even with 3.73's

the only reason why I am skiddish about going 4.10 is cause i don't want to have to change the rear by blowing my 10 bolt

i recently went to 4.10s from 3.42s and brotha let me tell you!
just the way the car launches from a stop is enough to accept the change. the car is soo much more fun to drive....
i have 285/35/19s and on the hiway 70 mph is 2000 rpm..the downfall is the lack of TRACTION but that's what DR's are for...
A4= 3.73
M6= 4.10
i cannot tell you the actual gain from the instal of the 4.10s since i rarely ever get traction

this pass was with 3.42s,275/40/17, 2.4 60' 14.50 @ 102

in this video i have the 4.10s and the 19s are on,of course no traction 2.3 60' 13.89 @104.44
the 2 passes prior were:
2.2 60'
13.81
104.50
next outing will be on 16" DR's

Definately get the 4.10s. I had this setup in my car. I ran it for a couple of years and loved it. Never had any problems at all out of it.

That's exactly what I had. You're going to want to get some drag radials, though.

I would do 4.10's but not in a 10-bolt.

6 speed with 4.10's FTW! You might consider a taller tire at the track because you really have to stretch out 4th gear. And don't even bother launching it on the street with a steep gear on street tires. It will spin 1st and 2nd hard... sometimes 3rd.. and probably chirp 4th. This is why I'm done going fast until I can put the power down :(
