WTB LT1/LS1 car near San Diego, CA

I'm looking to buy another LS1/LT1 car here in San Diego CA. $7K or less, and must be priced accordingly. IDC if its a auto or 6 speed. Has to be clean and free of any mechanical problems.

Also, you must be somewhat local. You must be within 4 driving hours of San Diego, CA.

TTT! Checked out a 95 Z tonight that turned out to be a total pile... low oil pressure and a slipping transmission....

Hope all is well with you :) I can put you in touch with a buddy of mine out there that knows LT1 and LS1 cars really well. He can probably help you find a GOOD car and can negotiate very well with the owners to save you quite a bit of money. Just remember, the market in San Diego is far different from the one here in the north east. Cars sell for ALOT cheaper out there on average. Also, there is a beautiful 94Z with a 396 forsale in Phoenix by a long time LT1 guy. The car is built right, in beautiful condition, and he wants $6500 for it. I'd buy it today if I was out there.
