Ok i recently put a 97 engine into my 95 z28 with an automatic trans i installed the correct knock sensor. the engine is a stock 350 with roller rockers,PS longtubes,ORY,magnaflow catback and a custom grind CAM that i dont know the specs on because the previous owner lost the cam card and stock heads that have been hand ported. He said the the engine made 390rwhp in his 97 m6 TA.
On my old motor with just bolt ons i had madz28 tune my pcm the car ran great but ever since i have put this engine in the car will not idle in cell 16 and it doesnt use hardly any other cells. Like when decel it doesnt go to cell 17. It idles in cell 5 most of the time and will go to cell 10 when cruising occasionally. I have tried changing my BLM boundaries via RPM and MAP and it has little effect.
So far all i have done to the tune madz28 did was change my closed TPS spark advance to 30 and set my idle up a couple hundred rpms. I also turned off the codes for low ac pressure and the evap system. I will include a datamaster log so you guys can look at it and hopefully see something i do not!
I did edit my at idle individual fuel trims because i had a decent sized blm split at idle. I would be more than willing to go back and change anything to get the car to work properly. I am using tuner pro v5 and winflash from tunercats to load my tunes.
