I've never really seen this hood on anything other then a third gen camaro I think it would look good on a lt1 Camaro with a ducktail spoiler.

I like it on the first car I don't think I like it on a Camaro with stripes and gfx. I don't like the gfx look with that hood.

Firehawk OEM > Firehawk Repro. :tt2: But in all seriousness, I like the WS6 hood better than the Firehawk hood, but the Firehawk hood comes in a close second.

Yeah, they discontinued it a few years back. Someone told me the Freedom Design one is the same (I dunno who makes it), Also I heard te one JC Whitney has is the same. It is definatly different than the other spoilers out there. It is hard to see over though.

yeah i found it at the ws6 store. ordered it today. but look at it this way imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. i'm 6'4" so i dont think visibility will be a problem

I am flattered. A lot of ppl give me crap over the spoiler. I too did not want the SS one. I wanted the SLP Ultra Z one, but that is damn near impossible to find. I think this spoiler give a throwback to the 70's camaros.

RK sport RS wing. Never really liked it at first, but it grew on me. I will one day go with an SS wing. Here is a rear shot:

Also have the bottom lip thing. Not a huge fan. It was painted over all the crap before I bought it, so it looks nasty underneath them. My biggest concern was fitting a 28 inch slick in there, but with minimal trimming of the inside of the lip, it fits fine.

I actually bought the freedom design spoiler new for $105 shipped and will be here on the 23rd.
Sweet! Would like to see if it is a match for the LG one. Drilling the holes for mine was kind of nerve wracking especially since it was used and i had no template. After the first hole was done I had crossed the point of no return. I like it much better in red now too. The black made it looked tacked on. I have thought about molding it into the stock spoiler one day.

well i got my freedom spoiler in and i have been out in the garage removing the stock spoiler. i also removed the vinyl stripes. test fitting is done although i wish it was a lil tighter to the body on the wrapped ends but it looks awesome. its now going to paint and will be airbrushed with a wicked jester and the lettering WICKED DECEPTIONS on the back side of it. will have them do a quick buff on the stocker

well i scored big time, while taking the spoiler up to my painter/air brusher. the wife and i start wandering around his shop waiting for him to get back from lunch. up on a shelf is a ls1 ss spoiler. he shows up and sees me eye balling it. long story short i got it for free. he's going to shoot it and the freedom one at the same time. the bad part is the 700.00 for just the airbrushing/lettering . i like the idea for being able to change spoilers to suit my mood. off course the wife wasn't happy at all lol

okay paint is done on the freedom spoiler and art work starts monday. just some fyi on the primer that is on the spoiler when you get it is shit my guy had to strip it completely and start over. its killing me to see the out come

Here's yet another that looks similar to Jays, and the freedom (I think RK sport makes a similar one as well). I got it from a small company in Michigan years ago that went out of buisness shortly after I got it. There are lots that look like it but I have only seen one car ever that was the exact same.
