With some reluctance, I am looking to sell my LT1 Formula. I unfortunately have too many other projects (including another LT1) and not enough room in the garage, so I am looking for a fellow LT1 lover that will give it a good home and hopefully wring out the rest of its potential. If you are looking for a docile streetcar that can go 10s, this is it. Here a few of the particulars:
-Golen 383 with hand-ported Dart heads, Comp cam, pushrods, lifters, rockers and timing set, RaceKrafters ported and smoothed intake manifold, Edelbrock 58mm throttle body
-EFI Connection LS1 PCM conversion
-Nitrous Outlet 75-200hp wet nitrous kit
-Pacesetter 1 3/4 long-tube headers, Mufflex Y-pipe with cats and 4-inch exhaust with Magnaflow muffler
-K&N intake and Vortech elbow with custom true flame paint that matches exterior
-Built 4L60E, Circle D 3600-stall converter, Motive 3.42 gear, Moser axles, TA Performance girdle, Eaton posi
-Billet Specialties Street Lite wheels, M&H skinnies and 275 drag radials
-BMR Fabrication suspension, QA1 adjustable shocks
-House of Kolor Emerald Green Pearl paint, matching Roadwire two-tone leather interior
There are many other mods and I am happy to answer any questions, or provide pictures via email. If you are interested feel free to PM or email me with an offer. Asking price is $12.5k.

Good luck with the sale Scott. Nice to see that you're staying around in the LT1 world though. Was afraid we'd lose all sense of coverage if you completely got out.

Thanks guys! Yeah we have plenty more LT1 stuff ahead, I just need to sell this first, which reminds me...if someone has an LT1 turbo kit I would be interested in a trade (with cash to make up the difference).

I'd be willing to let you borrow my car for a couple weeks to install that turbo kit and write an article on it. :hmm:

I love reading this article, this was started roughly around when I bought my LT1. Good luck with the sale and keep the LT1 coverage up! haha

GL with the sale. This is what always bothers me about Magazine cars, it seems like they never get finished. This is the ..3rd?..LT1 project car I have followed, and not finished.

I can understand how that would be frustrating, unfortunately the last two were owned by a former editor. He leaves and then so does the car. Just the nature of the beast.
This build, however, has pretty much been finished since the January issue when we accomplished our goal of running 11s. Never the less, we have a few more stories on the way because obviously there was plenty left in the combination. And we have a whole new LT1 project car to replace it.

Always good to hear! I have to say, best part of this whole series was one of the latest with the EFI connection swap.

you will be happy with my car and the readers will love to see how some real heads, intake and EFi Connections setup will really make it run hard

Thanks Larry :clown:...the latest story is in the current (April) issue. We have one more on the way, and not sure if it is going into permanent retirement or what. Check out the May issue for our new LT1 project car.

Cold a/c?

Yep, it might need to be recharged, but it always worked fine for me. When I daily drove it, I would have to recharge it every 1 1/2 to 2 years. I had it checked by an A/C shop and they said there were no leaks.
