Kyle McKenzie (http://www.facebook.com/kyle.m.mckenzie) Wow, sorry everyone LOL! Not sure on what exact route I'm going but it will be something a little newer that Amanda and I can both enjoy. The formula means a lot to me but I don't want to turn it into a race car or spend the money to get it there.

That's from facebook.

Hi everyone! This won't be affecting the shootout...so you can relax. ;)

If I could have 2 toys, I would do it in a heartbeat but I can't. I have enjoyed the Formula immensely! It was the first car that I can say I built. I learned a lot and achieved a lot of goals I thought I never would have achieved. My decision has nothing to do with speed or power or ET's or anything. I'm just interested in a different kind of car. I'm not prepared to spend the money it will take to get my car legal and safe to go down the track being as fast as it already is and I don't want to ruin the real street car feel it has. I don't know if or when it will even sell but I have to try. I made myself a promise a few years back to always try and follow my dreams. Without that, I may have never built the Formula.

It would be awesome to find someone in the LTX community to take it over but I know it's not for everyone. Just keep in mind the price is definitely negotiable and you can feel good about knowing where to get a hold of the previous owner when you have questions.

Damn I wish I had 30k to blow

This is one of the most well known LT1 powered cars around, I hate to see you sell it Kyle but I understand. Good luck with the sale.

Again, too... I hope you find someone within our tight-knit community who will keep it a prevalent piece like you did. Beautiful car, and it is totally worth every single penny.

Glad it wont effect the shootout, but it is still a very very sad thread.:cry: I understand even though I KNOW you will regret it moments after someone hands you that big stack of hundo's.
Good luck with the sale!

wow! another guy selling one of the nicest LTx cars.

I am planning to list mine once I fix a couple small things. I too have other things in mind and 2 toys do not work for me either. The thing that sucks for us guys that have these very nice car with lots of money in them is getting what they are worth.

Yeah, tell me about it. My car has been for sale for 2 months and everyone that calls about it wants you to give it away. I am already giving it away at $8,500. Not that my car is quit as nice as yours and Kyle's, but I feel its a nicely done car and in great shape for 15 years old.

For those who care...

I think I may have been a little hasty on my decision to sell the car. Honestly, with the new baby and holidays approaching I hadn't driven the car in almost 2 months and I was a little discouraged about not being able to go to the track or take it out to the local meets. I didn't have any time to work on it and it seriously bothered me. Anyways, now that things are getting back to normal again I think I'm ready to finish up the things I need to do and go get that 9 second slip I've been gunning for.

Sorry if I disappointed anyone looking to buy it but my gut is telling me to hang on to her for while. See y'all in September!
