my rear tire is 18" 9.5 I was wondering what is the biggest tire size i can fit on that rim.

Seems 285 is the biggest/safest tire. I know ppl may say some tires run "narrow" but if it says 315 but is only as wide as a 285, what the big deal? Spend the money on the better tire, not just the size IMHO

Are you sure the rear is a 9.5?
He has an 18inch C5 Z06 rim.

Matt you should have it checked out just in case. I know they make those in 10.5s dont be so sure its a 9.5

well he said he believes they are 9.5's but when i put the car into hibernation i'll pull off the tire and measure

id say anywheres from 265-295 easy...

I have 18x9.5 all around and i have had 265's and 275's fitted.... brands all vary on widths tho... soooooo:whistle:
