Car runs with MAF unplugged, runs like shat with it plugged in....

Exactly as title says. Out driving the car last night, made a quick pull (to 4000rpm, barely hit 2psi. Got lag?), a charge pipe popped off (before MAF) because I forgot to tighten the clamp :embarassed:. Car died, wouldnt restart. Only starts and runs if MAF is unplugged, limped it home. Let it sit overnight, same deal. I'm not sure if the MAF is at fault or its just because it goes into limp mode when its unplugged. Any help is appreciated!

The goes into speed density mode if the maf is unplugged. Your wiring is either bad or the maf is shot more than likley

bad maf or wires or u r getting air in after the maf

Sounds like the MAF got fried last night. Simple fix. Speed Density tune. :D

Grab yourself a 2 bar map sensor (I have 2 or 3 lying around :hmm:) and go SD. You'll be happy you did.
And if you're real wild with the PSI, get a 3 bar.

I got a 2bar for SD, but my tune is for MAF right now, don't wanna get into tuning until its broken in. Paul, I might need one, I'm gonna borrow a local guys MAF to make sure mine's bad first. Wonder how it got fried though....
