All-

I finally got my car dyno tuned Wednesday (8/25) at Speed Inc!
I'm running a forged 383 with AFR 210 eliminator heads, LT4 air gap intake, 82# injectors, 58mm TB, LPP headers, F1A procharger with 4.5" pulley. Has a Moser 12 bolt with 3.90 gear, full suspension. Has EFI Connection LS1 PCM conversion NO OPTI!!!!

First pull: REALLY rich. made 580 RWHP at 5800 RPM @11 psi. Spun the tires on the dyno! :claps:
Second pull: 628 RWHP at 6400 RPM, 14 psi.
Last pull: 648 RWHP at 6500 RPM, 14 psi. Max TQ was 585, at somewhere around 5800. Can't remember for sure, I'm at work and don't have my dyno sheet in front of me.

I'm really satisfied. Honestly, I would have been really happy with 600+. I was hoping to see between 600-650 with the 4.5" pulley at about 10 psi, and 650-700 with the 4.25" pulley at about 12-14 psi. We never got the smaller pulley on, because I didn't want to boost the motor much more than 14 psi. With the smaller pulley, I'd definitely be limiting my max RPM to probably 6000 or less.
In the future, depending on how things go over the next month or so, I may get a slightly larger pulley and take it back up there (I'm about 3 hours away from Speed Inc) and spin the motor higher (about 7300 or so).
Thanks to Larry and the guys for doing a great job on the induction piping work on my car, and for doing an awesome job on the tune!

Very nice results! How much more could you pulley that F1 down for more boost?

glad to help and I think it did very well

he does not need more boost, but rather less if you read his post. The car is making 14psi by 6500 on 93 octane and we would like to see 14-15 psi at 7000ish so he can make use of the motor.

if it was so simple to change a pulley it would be nice for a race gas tune/pulley swap, but I do not believe it is so simple with this setup

We are happy to know you are happy with our services and please let me know if you ever have any questions.

Good deal! I'd be good with that much HP as well!

And your reasoning is....what?

while the edelbrock air intake does have a larger cross section of the runners,it just doesnt flow as well as a stock ported manifold.no disrespect to you or anything i just think edelbrock could have done better especially for the price on it.

Actually, the runners on the edlebrock are about the same as the LT4, but the LT4 manifold has a greater volume than the edlebrock. I think that edlebrock could actually be a restriction on the setup........any chance for the op to swap on an LT4 manifold from someone to compare?

Not really at this point. Just some fyi, I bought the motor complete, it already had that manifold on it. I'm a few hours away from the dyno as well, and id like to enjoy the car for awhile before making any changes. It is a devent thought though, and when the time comes to change things, I may do just that.

Impressive numbers congrats!!!!! I doubt you would gain much at all by swapping intakes. If you were NA maybe but your not. You are forcing the air in the engine not sucking it in.
