This is for my 2002 chevy blazer 2wd.it was weed this morning it took like 3 times for it to start, normally it starts right up on the first try.I drove on the highway for about 15 miles and right when I was about to get off the entire gauge cluster lit up like a Christmas tree for 3-4 seconds.every light was on,and after they all went off the fasten seat belt light stayed on for another 5 seconds or so.it was reapply weird I never seen this happen before.it runs fine too,I havent had an issue.

if battery and alternator seem good i wonder if the 02 had the instrument cluster issues like all the other tahoes sierras etc,,i had my entire cluster replaced on my 04 yukon under a lawsuit gm had against the cluster maker,,problem is gm never made it an actual recall,i dont see anything in all my paperwork that includes the 02 but who knows,,make sure its not a low voltage issue first,,maybe let advance or autozone check the battery and alternator,,if it gets to the point of being the guage cluster ive got some documents i can give ya

well the voltage meter is the only one ive been having a problem with.i noticed like 2 months ago it was reading really low and it still does.i put a voltmeter on this morning and it was reading 14 volts and the battery is brand new, like maybe 3 or 4 weeks old now

well its doing it again...Didnt have any problems until monday night which is when the starting problems occured.I go to turn the key and the cluster is dead except for the battery light is on.I have between 12.2 volts and 12.6 volts, when i checked it on different occassions this has happened.I go to start it and i can hear the fuel pump prime and it will start but then die a second later.I let it sit for about 5 min and it ended up starting like normal. Then last night i went to get something to eat and i started it no problems except for all the gauges are dead.A minute after driving they all start working again except the battery and security light is lit up.Drove a few miles and let it sit for a couple hours and didnt have a problem again.I ran some errands earlier today, let it sit for about 4 hours and now its doing it again.Im really not sure what to do,ive never had this issue before on any car (http://blazerforum.com/forum/#).Its now been sitting for almost a full day and still doing the same thing.I go to turn the key and the gauges are all dead except for the battery light is on and the odometer is the only thing working.
