congrats man. trucks nowadays are too huge for me though... just looks like a pinewood derby kit that some 10 year old chipped away at and got the design. it probably hauls a shit ton of stuff though.

Bad ass truck man, I have a full size Sierra and I think the interiors are a lot nicer in those Ford F150s then in my new body style Sierra. You get a lot nicer truck with the F150s, I hope the 5.0 replaces the 4.6 in those, would love to get a crew cab Larriat or King Ranch for my next daily driver

it dose not have the 4.6 or 5.0, the F150s now come standard with the 5.4L. it just sucks that i have not driven it yet...38days

hope you have more luck with yours than i had with mine...
'05 FX4 - 2 engines, 3 transmissions. the one trans that lasted the longest was a C6... and all of that went in under 40k miles. first engine popped a few spark plugs, cracked the drivers side head, nothing too serious, dealer covered under warranty. second one, that one sucked. while towing uphill (8900lbs travel trailer), the ECU decided i was trying to go faster when i was only trying to maintain 55mph. so it dropped down to 1st gear. while still going 55mph... first thing to let go where valves, and LOTS of them (13 taken out of the 24 total). next, #3 rod out the side of the block. stock rod bolts don't like anything over 6500rpm, mine went a little over that:shiner:
also, the CLAIMED towing capacity is a little optimistic in my mind. 9k lbs worth of trailer and that 5.4 3v was struggling. i think mine was just a lemon though:laugh:

that deff! sounds like a lemon!
but a lot of my decision for buying a ford came from what i have seen in my job. i am a Air Force Fleet mechanic and in are fleet we have Ford's, Chevy's, and Dodges...well you can ask any other Air Force person on here about how the vehicles are driven...people truly believe in "drive it like you stole it". and over 5 years and 3 different bases 4,000+ total vehicles Fords have lasted longer and better, yes they are harder to work on but from what i have seen they are the best built. i by no means am trying to start a Flame on hear, i am just saying what i have experienced and seen.
