View Full Version : I saw a KITT replica today

I was driving around looking for a new car to buy for my Fiancee after we get married, so Im looking into this Audi A4, then I am leaving and guess what I see across the street, FREAKIN KITT

So I drive over and snapped some pics

yea I was so freakin excited, I felt like a little kid, its only the second time in my life that I have seen a KITT, the first being at Universal Studios when I was like 10, and this time

Of course the one at Universal Studios was exact, but this guy did a pretty good job, it looks like its an all stock Trans Am and the guy modified the bumpers to look like the KITT ones, so kudos to him

Wow, I didnt notice the front bumper looked modified.. but your right, its close, but not dead on. Thats a shame cuz he coulda bought the actual replacement one for 400 bucks, and had the thing dead on....

Either way... I WANT IT!

Nah I think it went away A LOOOONG time ago

You stood in line and you could walk up and ask KITT a question and it was pretty close to williams daniels' voice
I remember I was PISSED because I waited in line for like 30 minutes, and I said, hey KITT, what exactly is your top speed, and the voice goes, uh I can go very fast, and then NEXT.

Yea but I read that its not "Street legal" with the replica bumper, BUT then again the dudes running around with that steering wheel which is NO WAY street legal

Probably only because the supports are removed.... and lets be honest, how many people pull supports out of stock bumpers for the weight reduction anyways... lol, your right, that wheel is NOT legal... but SOOOO COOL!

wow thats awesome, pretty rare to come across thats for sure. I have never seen one in real life!
