The motor only has 400 miles on it. The tranny around 2000 and the rear about the same. Tires like I said are brand new. This car was built to run, it pulls HARD all the way to 6900. Right now I need to fine tune the tune (lol) but after that it should not have any problems.

The Bad:

Hood has a small fingernail chip in the paint
The driver side door skin has a small crack by the mirror
One of the rear Fikse wheels has a small crack in the inner hoop along the lip. Forgeline said they could replace the hoop for 150 dollars.

Driving manners are very VERY tame. Even with that big of a cam it still drives very well. The motor is set up to handle a 300 shot. I never sprayed the new set up, but wanted it to be able to handle a 200 shot easily. The car has not been buffed since I started the whole rebuild last year, so a good cleaning and a buffing is needed.

I'm sure I am forgetting a lot but it's late and I just wanted to post it up right now that it is in my head. As I said before, I absolutely love this car. I get compliments on it pretty much everywhere I go and it is for sure a head turner. Frankly, I am tired of always working on it (in a good way, not repairing stuff) and am getting to the point where I NEVER race. I am absolutely positive I will miss it, but right now I just think it would be good to see it go to a good home. Now I know the bank books the car at around 6-7K. And I know I will never get what I have in it. But here's the break down, I bought it around 2 1/2 years ago for 10K. I have put around 8K into the car. All of the parts are quality parts and no corners were ever cut. This thing was a beast before the 383 and now it is even stronger, I would love to take it to the track once before I sell it, but then I'm afraid I will want to keep it.

In no way do I HAVE to sell it. I'm just tired of seeing it sit and with the money I would probably buy me a new truck. I am just not into the car scene as much as I used to be.

I would like to see 12,500 the way it sits right now. Please, I am open to offers but DO NOT low ball me. Like I said, I do not need to sell it.

If you would like to call and talk about it, just give me a ring. I work M-F from 10-6 and some weeknights and weekends at my second job. If I don't answer, leave your name and a number and I will get back to you. Or you can email me.

Pics and video should be up sometime this week.

I would like to see it go to a good home regardless. Thanks guys

Justin

I know man I know :(

But, if I sell the car, the wife and I will be completely out of debt before I start school, which is something I would like A LOT.

Then after I get out of school I am going to try my hardest to buy her back!

Very gorgeous car, great seller. It definitely turned a lot of heads when he pulled into the parking lot on a local cruise a few weeks ago.

I do have this picture of it, but it by no means does the car justice. It's a very good looking car.

Bump for you Justin, sorry to hear you're selling it. If you want me to snap some pictures of it later this week let me know. I'm leaving town on Sunday for Kansas City though, and probably won't be back until August.

I would LOVE to sell it back to him because I know he would take good care of it. He was the first person I talked to, maybe he'll come around LOL

No, I drilled the hole into the trim bezel around the cluster. Those are halfway easy to find and replace and I didn't want a hole in my dash pad. Like KissMYSS said, it's in Manhattan KS. I haven't had any serious people so maybe when you sell your car it will still be available LOL

Sick Formula, looking at the build list that car with those wheels would cost $20K easy just in parts to duplicate. I was telling a friend, if you had a clean bolt on LT1 you wanted to modify, it would make sense, to swap parts with that car, sell it as a bolt on car and still come out ahead of trying to duplicate it.

Exactly man. I've got a buddy back home interested in doing something like this. I'm moving back at the end of June and if it doesn't sell by then I am going to swap him for all his stock parts and then sell my car as a stock ride. Really don't want to do that but if that's what it takes then I will.

Sadly enough, in 1 month I haven't had one single semi-interested person in the car. But in 15 min I think I sold the motor, trans, and rear end out of the car. :(

Like I've said before: If I had the spare change to pick up your ride, you know I would. That thing is just full of awesome.

Good luck with the sale. Hopefully someone picks up the car as a whole instead of you parting it out.

That was a nice car there. Though the model year is old, I think you have preserved it with good firebird parts (http://www.car-stuff.com/pontiacfirebirdparts.htm) there for your good old 1996 Pontiac Firebird. I hope someone would get that car. I would love to get this one but i'm not yet in the process of changing one.
