Well the time has come!

I started my 8.8 build up a few months back and of course money is tight so the rear end gets done a little at a time.
So i figured my finances and came to the conclusion the 8.8 needs to be done in the next 2 weeks. Not even 5 min later my poor
4.10 equipped 10-bolt started making some suspicious sounds! i think there is a little pissed off warrior doing a tribal dance attempting to come out!

Very cautiously, i removed the cover all i found were a few teeth laying on the bottom.........i resealed the damn thing cause this is my only transpo at this time filled it with new fluid,as if it matters! Drove to work the past couple of days and it is soooooo embarrasing i want LIMO tint now.........Guys/Gals it sounds like a serious rod knock
anyway i have a 10-bolt that a friend saved so that goes in tomorrow to make payday then i can finish the 8.8 with detailed pics......


The beginning of the new 8.8 hybrid, 3.73 Locker,i wanted 4.10s again but the Nitrous is going back on and i am not buying new tires again so 3.73s fit the bill
and keep me from shifting into 5th on the bottle....

well at least you have another rear to throw in until then.

lol i just got done with mine rearend rebuild, cant really say it works all too well but i can pull it in and out of the driveway until i can get my s60 when i get back from deployment.

Small update, i put the spare rear end in my car last night, pulled axles,brakes and all that jazz...unable to take pics just wanted to get it done!
The 4.10s are chewed up and warped never have i the ring gear teeth warped! :hmm::hmm: The temporary 10-bolt is in my drive home was rather quiet only bad part, i realize just how spoiled i am with 4.10s :(:rolleyes::rolleyes:.....The temp has 3.23s:shiner::shiner: m6 with 3.23s:embarassed::embarassed:

Sadly enough i am happy i have it......
well more parts coming in to be installed on the 8.8 and pics to come.........
