Like the title says "Please" post you pics so I can get an idea of how to install mine. I think I'm going to buy a Nitrous Outlet solenoid bracket, and fuel rail adaptor to go with everything else i have. What I'm looking for is ruting of wires, relays and the lines around the engine bay. Also where to install the Mallory 685 box.

Thanks
Sean

38 people looked at this post and not a pic... Even a link would be good. PLEASE...LOL. I've ordered a solenoid bracket from nitrous outlet to make it look cleaner, and have decided to mount the 685 box under the pasengers seat. Put Pics of how you routed the wiring around the engine bay would be nice. I will post pics when I get mine done to help other people, but I could really use some help now.

Thanks
Sean

Here is mine. Pics are from last fall. I just got finished rerouting all the wiring. I moved my relays to under the dash and the throttle switch to behind the gas pedal. The few wires left in the engine bay are now ran with the fuel injector wiring so you can't see any nitrous wiring now. The fuel rail covers were hiding most of it before, I have taken those off now. If you do a search on here, LS1tech, and LT1engine.com, you will find a ton of pics.

Thanks for the pics.. Thats a sweet looking car and a clean install. I have searched all the other boards and only found the same pics over and over, or LS cars.
Where did you mount you ignition box?

It was mounted on the front side of the strut tower above the fuse box, but I just moved all 3 boxes (MSD 6A, Multi step retard and digital window switch) over to where my battery was. Battery is going to the back. Working on that now, along with alternator relocation and ABS delete.

I made it out of some sheet metal. The front bolts to the rear seat cushion mount and the rear is bolted to the sheet metal that makes the rear seat well. Here is another pic without the bottle in.

How did you get the nitrous line into the engine bay? Did you run it through the inside the car?

bootsy crouton
05-06-2010, 06:52 PM
Line runs behind engine, under PCM, then through a hole in fender wall, under the mud guard or whatever it is and then down the SFC until it comes up in the cabin. Bottles on the tranny tunnel.

I've got a spare tire mount, I think its 860 or something like that. I was wondering what to tie the line to, never thought of the SFC. I guess i need to get at installing it.... Just waiting for a couple of thing from Nitrous Outlet.
Thanks

I ran my line through the inside of the car along the passenger side and used the same grommet as the wiring harness to get to the engine bay. Just pull the PCM out and you will see the big grommet.

Thanks man. The battery was on the driver side cubby hole in the hatch. I've since relocated it to the middle of the well in a polished battery box.
