Bought my '94 Formula hardtop 6-speed sortly after I returned from IRAQ. Hince the name "War Trophy'. It was a one owner, all stock 83K car. Had all documentation, serivce records and even the window sticker. Spent the next 7 months to get it to where it is now.

Thanks:D They are Centerline Matrix, two piece forged wheels. I still run 275/40/17 all the way around, but had custom offsets. 7 inch offset in the front, and 6.5 inch offset in the rear. It widened the rear track to match the body lines without having to run a different size tire back there.

Car put down 349/339 to the wheels on a Mustang Dyno with the converter unlocked. Let off at 5900 because the motor was new but I spin it to 6300 regularly now. All stock bottom end but new with only arp rod bolts. I have very very mild AI cam in it that passes NY emissions easily. I also run a cat on this car....idles close to stock and ac blows ice cold...

No more sniffer test in NY so Im going to have AI work on a new cam in the near future and delete the cat. Should get to 400rwhp easily. Its a fun car. Great torque curve....

Thanks! I really like the HP's. They are 19x9 front and back, next year im going to go with 18's up front and a wider/taller tire for the 19's in the rear. Ive tried to keep the car subtle and i think its paid off. We have alot of great looking LT1's in this thread, I hope mine fits in.

I know what you mean. When I was looking for a car I just new it had to be a v8 and then we found this one and I wasn't real big on the purple but it grows on you. I actually repainted it earlier this year and Its really close to the stock color of the car except we added more red, and blue pearl and we put violet pearl in it which it didn't have so to me it looks a whole lot better than it did stock.

Thanks. The red blackbirds and overlay kit are from fourthcircledesigns. The blackbird wingtips that is actually the first car to get the pinstripe version and I modeled the solid version and last I checked it was still the pics for those two. The charcoal ceta helped as well. The airbox is painted gloss black with the script painted red. Red otvc kit and leather and if I hadn't sold it, it would have gotten full red umi susp.

I just ordered my decals from fourthcircledesigns :laugh: I got basically everything you have except for the wingtips cuz I just wasn't sure of how it'd look all together, but I'd be lying if I said that your car isn't doing a damn good job of convincing me to pull the trigger. Only difference is I opted to be a little different and ordered the reflective red vinyl for mine (hoping it doesn't look like ass, but I figured what the hell haha). I think I need to paint my airbox next ;) I've already done a little paint-modding in the interior to give it a little more life inside the solid charcoal cockpit. It came out quite nicely. I'll get pics of everything posted up as soon as my decals are on.

I believe its where the passengers left knee would be. Possibly a flip out style if Im not mistaken.

Oh except you have to cut or break off a tab in the bottom of the console. 93-96 brackets don't have the hole for it to go it. They are much nicer and rattle free

Was the console he only difference in the transam interiors? The camaros have obvious differences but the birds kinda look the same to me.

Actually no. The dash is different. Compare the dash pad out of a 93-96 had a point about the vents 97-00 has a curve and 01-02 is ebony instead if charcoal. The hvac is different it has lighted knobs where 93-96 don't or atleast my two cars didn't. Also 97-02 has a digital odometer.

6 bolts on the outside of the fire wall ( including one towards the trans tunnel) and IIRC there are 4-5 on the inside around the HVAC box. then it comes out in one giant piece.

I did an intro thread years ago lol, never really posted a whole lot though. Back then the car was stock... my mods are (coppied my sig from ls1tech)Clayton Racing 383 4 bolt main LT1, 26cc Dish Piston, Forged Scat Rotating Assembly, Dart Pro 1 200cc Heads, CamMotion custom grind Cam, Ported 58 MM Intake and TPiS Throttle Body, 44lbs Injectors, EFI Connection 24x tuned by Jeremy Formato at Faster Proms, TPiS Headers and Offroad Y, 3600 Yank Stall, Jim Circle 4L60e, Moser 9 Inch with 3.89 Gears, full UMI front and rear suspension, Konis/Stranos, Brakemotive brakes... Interior was done by two local shops. I probably missed something lol. Cars actually 1 of 34 built that color in 97. Had no idea when I bought it. Id say im about 6 years into this build... next years plans are some boost to make this motor do what its supose to. Not sure how im going about it yet but playing with ideas and gathering parts.

Back then the car was stock... my mods are (coppied my sig from ls1tech)Clayton Racing 383 4 bolt main LT1, 26cc Dish Piston, Forged Scat Rotating Assembly, Dart Pro 1 200cc Heads, CamMotion custom grind Cam, Ported 58 MM Intake and TPiS Throttle Body, 44lbs Injectors, EFI Connection 24x tuned by Jeremy Formato at Faster Proms, TPiS Headers and Offroad Y, 3600 Yank Stall, Jim Circle 4L60e, Moser 9 Inch with 3.89 Gears, full UMI front and rear suspension, Konis/Stranos, Brakemotive brakes... Interior was done by two local shops. I probably missed something lol. Cars actually 1 of 34 built that color in 97. Had no idea when I bought it. Id say im about 6 years into this build... next years plans are some boost to make this motor do what its supose to. Not sure how im going about it yet but playing with ideas and gathering parts.

I really like that hood scheme! Have you ever thought about photoshopping the spoiler black to match the hood? Trying to visualize that in my head and I think it could work nicely to extend the theme front to back. Just a thought :D Looks great though!

Looks fantastic man, there's a quaser blue trans am running around here in Lansing, but don't look half as good as this one... is that an aftermarket upper radiator support or something you did to it?
