Ive been looking for this mod forever and you can only find it for the LSx cars :frustrated:

And Ive seen quite a few of the LTx cars with it done but cant seem to find the how to or the write up.

The only thing Im confused about is how and where to put the red + box thats on the passenger side fender....

Thanks for your help.

Search on Tech for "Wire Tuck". It is essentially tucking all the wiring harnesses under things or in the specific point of this post, the main wiring harness behind the battery being pulled through the upper wheel well above the liner. It really cleans the engine bay up, but it takes some work too.

The Junction box, I bet you could tuck down by the battery and just extend the wires if necessary. I wouldn't make that inaccessable as it's a GREAT point to tap into for juice for additional items.

Its the mod that relocates the harness on the passenger side of the wheel well to make it the picture I posted. and I cant figure out where the how to is

You can also re-route the fuel lines in a similar fashion. Those two mods make a huge diff in the cleanliness of the engine bay. I can't find a writeup for it either

I plan to run my aftermarket lines in this manner.

Hey Adam, maybe I could just drive my car up to Memphis and let you do it. ;) :)

How much beer would it require. lol

i mounted the juntion box right around the fender opening were the wires now come through.

i also did the fuel line mod, hood latch mod, abs delete, moved the fuse box, rewired the engine to hide all the wires and hid the wire loom in front of the radiator. i also welded all the mounting clip holes shut and repainted everything.

Affirmative.

your f-body is the first f-body that I've seen with a total wire tuck. This is pretty big in the honda community.

Looks so pimp, but in the case that you have to access stuff, it can be a pain. Such a pain too, but MAJOR PROPS. :hail:

I want to see pictures of the real no wire mod, anyone have some. I already did the fuel line relocation along with wire mod. I'm currently working on tucking the PCM inside the car, going to extend most of the wiring so I can reroute everything.

ugh, trying to decide if i should do this now while i have the motor out and i'm painting the engine bay or if i should just wait. along with the fuel line relocation mod...

I have the motor out and am working on more clean up and hiding more wires etc. I will put up some pics of my wire mod, Fuel line relocation, and hood lacth cable tuck this weekend. IMHO the mire mod is a must do. I am deleting my ABS and am relocating the underhood fuse box. I may make a new panel to hide where my stock intake used to be. I will probally add some pics and maybe a how to in my album as I work in the car. I think I am gonna take this summer off for racing/showing the car and spend some time clenaing and fixing.

I was thinking about relocating the Fuses and also extending the PCM into the glove box. I have an extra wiring harness I will use. Any tips on soldering the wires together? When it comes to wiring I usually just crimp and add butt connectors.
