what RPM is good to lanch at with a cam'ed bolt on car and stock tranny and diff.? also on 285/35/18 DR's from NITTO. and when lauching, a full cluch drop or a roll off on cluch, and a roll on gas? my reaction time sucks and my 60 foot time a constant 2.200
With a stock 3.42 I would side step the clutch about 2500 rpm with light throttle and hopefully the car will bite traction about 20 feet out so you can put your foot to the floor to get down the track.

definatelly dont drop the clutch or you'll be in the market for a new rear end

when you say drop the clutch what exactly do you mean?
I have always launched the same way with no problems so far.

Rolling the clutch out smoothly and smoothly feeding in throttle is always your bat bet.
You just have to practice.

Not on a Nitto! Definitely not a track tire, but they do good work on the street.
