3.90's with M6

Anyone ran this? I have a sound in the rear pretty sure I broke a set of gears. If that's the case I'm gonna go with 3.90s, should be a little stronger than the 4.10's better mileage, better traction etc.

Thoughts?

i run 3.90 motive gear right now.. love it. friend of mine has 4.10's and believe it or not i can tell his car is shorter like mine much more .
top of 3rd ends 1/8th top of 4th ends 1/4 mile

Yeah I know its only 5% but it should make each gear a little longer.

My cam has so much brutal tq right off idle I'm hoping it might help traction on the street a little too.

Moser 12 bolt w/3.90's here and M6. Loving the combo. Short gears for the street, but I'm not screaming RPM's down the highway.

I have 28'' right now with the 3.90s

the guys who i bought my car from installed a 3.90 in it, but i dont know what brand, anyway i driving with the stock 16'' wheels cruising in 4th @ 2000 rpm @ 40-45 mph.
i did not drive any other with a 3,23 of 3.42, but i have no problem with this
