what can it handle?
I have a ZEX wet kit on my 97z and want to get 100 more rwhp out of it. I was told that zex rates their power increase to the fly wheel. I have the 75 jets in at the moment which means I'm adding very little wheel power.. to get the 100 I want I need to put bigger jets in like for a 150 shot. But what I don't know is if the lt1 can handle the 150 to the fly wheels like that. I'm new to the nitrous game so I still have a lot to learn. Let me know what you think!
Thanks guys!

If its tuned properly a stock lt1 will take a 150 shot all day long

I know a good tune is crucial. So you think if put 125-150 jets in I'd be fine? With a tune of course.

I'm not trying to blow it up haha. It's a daily/weekend drag car. Just curious if it will take the spray for an extra 100 wheel. If not, no biggie. Just want to see what's been done and get opinions.

I hit my stock bottom with 150 wet shot for a few years, and several bottles.
The rebuild was actually caused by a failed oil pump, nothing to do with nitrous.

I don't know anything about nitrous, but the hypereutetic aluminum pistons don't so d very strong to me. I personally don't want to risk it until I'm ready to blow the motor and have a thrill on its way out
97 TA (Rebuilding):Stock bottom end 355, CAI, 52 TB, Ported intake and lt1 heads, 227/235 LE cam, Ultra-Pro-Mags 1.6RR's, Hooker LT's, single flowmaster, McLeod Clutch. Need a 9inch rear to handle the abuse
