    Shortly after I got my car, I ported the intake with a carbide bit on the car after shoving a wet rag in it. It was hideous and eventually was machine ported (aka cleaned up my hack job. Ah yes, the days when you just assume a totally stock LT1 will make more usable power with a junk Summit 58mm TB.

    I'm looking forward to seeing your car in action. You are anticipating breakage at some point, but it will probably last forever. ...until the 300 shot.

    Thank you. I stuffed a cut up t-shirt covered in wheel bearing grease in the intake to catch the aluminum, along with plugging the iac hole with a rubber cork/grease, and pipe cleaners in the pcv openings behind the divider (again grease covered). it looks like i got 98% of the shavings out. used a dremel grout removal bit to rough the opening, then 60 grit sanding drums on the dremel to clean it up. It actually went surprisingly well, and it looks decent enough that my fiance thought i got an intake from someone, she said theres no way you did that with a dremel

    just gonna keep plugging away at it. i know i need a converter and trans more than anything, so thats the goal right now. but if for whatever reason i cant get one before track season, its getting sprayed the way it sits.

    tore down the le2 motor to help out jay with his issues. hes getting my le 227/235 cam and le2 heads, those funds will go to @Ltconvert for those le ported afr heads he has and the nitrous cam that was specd for a 355.

    this will probably be nitrous solenoid final mounting. fuel solenoid will be on ds, but need a few fittings and a new hose as the supplied is not long enough to grab the rail shrader.

    Bottle mounted. I know i need a nhra blowdown etc. this bottle is out of date and will get sent in as a core for a new nitrous outlet bottle with the gucci valve/blowdown. i dont have a need for the remote bottle opener so if anyone wants it its up for grabs. 20210110_161949.jpg
