Funny car chassis showed up today! Spent almost 2 hours oiling that dirty girl down to prevent rust. Might be making a trip to Kalitta Motorsports with the boss man in the near future to pick up the bodies that go with the car.

It's just the chassis, I figured I would post up em up once the car is a little more complete. It's tough to tell what you are looking at when it's just the tubing in a pic.

Figured I should update this since it's been awhile. We've been super busy at the shop, having to push a car and rig out in about 3 weeks (came in for updates and upgrades). In the middle of that I had to haul out to Indianapolis to pick up a dragster chassis, which is on it's way to australia right now (profitting about 400 bucks off that trip). The dragsters are on their way to aussie land and the customer who's rig we worked over is out in arizona on the IHRA nostalgia nitro funny car circuit (McAttack is the name of the car).
Right now since we are slow again we are cleaning up the shop and waxing the floors, getting everything reset for turning our focus onto the Nitro funny car. We are going to be racing for Kalitta Motorsports this year. Hopefully we will be ready to make our first pass in a couple months. Also we just welcomed Nick Bastiao on board to tune the funny car for my boss. He's also going to be teaching me engine stuff.
There is also something else that is coming up. It's pretty big time but I'm not spilling the beans just yet. We should be getting started with it in a couple weeks though. I'm super stoked about all the rest of what's been going on and this last thing is just sweet, sweet icing on the cake.

Waxed floors look awesome. But the effort required to seal and wax a 7000 sqft shop sucks. Laid the final coats today, and have to go back and buff it out on monday. The parts that are finished are shiny though.
