Looking good Man, clean ride. I know what you mean when you say super tight finances, I had to check up on my project until I got my credit card bill paid down some. LOL

we have to put a roof on due to homeowners insurance giving us a hard time. no leaks or anything, they want it done because its "old". otherwise car would be making passes already.

got the car out today, retuned for 3.42 gears, verified all electronics working, bled brakes, etc. go to do a little drive to verify brakes worked, and whenever i touch the gas at all the balance weight on the gm aluminum driveshaft hits the driveshaft loop bad enough to give knock readings (and feel in the shifter).

AHHHH, this spohn tunnel mount torque arm sucks.

car only has hose mod. so now have to figure out how to modify driveshaft loop to clear the ds.

driveshaft loop spaced with 4-3/8" nuts and it no longer hits the driveshaft. car actually hits pretty hard in first but noses over in second. seeing a voltage drop, so gonna swap the alternator and see if that helps. @MoeHorsePower gonna need one of those send it high mile bolt on tunes.

first time in the daylight since may

cleaned up and painted some free but corroded wagon wheels for the front. will be running a 245/40/17 riken tire as a ghetto front runner. this plus the ss 10 spoke/et street r weighs significantly less than the zr1's that were on it.

i was gonna get the jegs 17" skinnies and m&h radial front runners but the weight isnt more than 2 lbs different than this setup, so i will run this until i can affor real light skinnies and light 15x8 drag wheels.

Trying like hell to get to the track tomorrow. hope the weather holds.

A 245/45-17 would keep you closer to the stock 25.7” diameter. A 245/40-17 is 1” smaller.
