Block of wood under crank snout and go slow. Its only a crank, what could go wrong?

Personally I would just wait till you can use a hoist to pull front of motor up.

I used wood under the pan and it didn't dent or anything, try and use something wide to spread the load. We had a piece of a 6x8 beam that worked perfect.

I was gonna lift it up by the cam.

The only hoist I got is a boat hoist lol. I just figured it would be a lot easier todo the mounts now with literally nothing there.

Didn't change the timing set yet, but mocked up the 24x. But the heads are partially on, I need new head gaskets because these ones were a little bent on the edges and I ain't doing this again.

    Thanks @Formula218

After talking with a fellow lt1 guy from Michigan, I'm likely buying a keyed ati hub and using a longer key after his crank reluctor walked off. Whether that be for this season or next I'm not sure yet. He had a ati hub w/ no extended key.

Still need to rotate the motor to get some more crud out from between the piston and cylinder wall.

I've also been trolling my school's group and they actually believe I put a forged 5.3 with heads converted for single plane in my car. I even said I built the motor myself :/
