    find a used 3.42 or 3.73 10 bolt.

Theres a reason why its so cheap. Its probably a rebuilt 4 cylinder converter with a different input to fit a small block so that it flashes higher. You get what you pay for.

It doesnt matter to me anyways. Its not my car or money. Just my opinion.

I wasnt trying to start an argument. I was merely stating my real life experience with a specific brand/part.

I wasnt saying he had to go with a certain brand/part I used. Im not trying to start a competition between two brands either which is stupid....

That's a great price I'm on a budget right now trying to free up some things. I cant yes or no yet. But stainless does sound good.

As for the converter I didn't think that I needed a 3500 stall. Maybe a .400 hp is the goal or there about and a lower stall would be cheaper.
Tranny rebuild is around 1300 with all the bells and whistles but the dude all said I cant change anything the trans does via the PCM. But he may not know. Hes just a tranny guy. Protorque sounds doable.

let me know, they are just sitting here.

I suggest a 3kish stall for street manners.

things can be changed with trans via tune, but you can only change so much if the trans isn't built right. you should really talk to Frank @Cahall about a cpt rebuild. he will give you a warranty when most others won't. even his stock rebuild breaks necks
