24x question
Did anybody have a problem with there tach not reading correct after they install there 24x setup?

I didn't have that issue. How far is it off?

You have to correct it in the tune, other wise it won't read correctly. Everything on my factory gauge cluster works fine sans the Check Engine Light.

Yes. Call911's car was that way, tach was reading at 50%. As Neil350 said, it's easily corrected via the tune.
@Neil350 What's up with the CEL? That should be working too I'd think.

The light has never come on, but codes will store in the PCM. The cluster just won't illuminate to tell you. Not sure why that is.

Ok thanks, I That's about how far mines off. Tach shows about 2,000 rpm and motor about 4,000

I had it with the 93 LT1 ECM and it worked then, just never after the 24X swap.

You might have something wired wrong Did the swap, wired it myself, used the 411 PCM with hp tuners and everything is great. Still working on a real tune but runs and drives great. No more sputtering and backfiring at full throttle Should have done this 10 years ago
