    Default Hello, from Texas

Hello all, I'm Mike. I would like to say I'm glad I found this site. I just bought my first gen2 engine and I'm glad there's a source of social information on them! I picked up a iron head LT out of a 95 impala or caprice, not sure... My plans are to rebuild and swap into my 89 rs Camaro. Past plans were for a carbed 1st gen, but emissions testing down the road is something I don't want to mess with, so...efi here I come! As I progress I will be posting a build thread if anyone wants to see, but for now, here's what I got!

Hope these pics show up, I'm not real good with computers! Just the engine whole, and tore down.

@muddyjimmy has a gorgeous 3rd Gen with an LT1 swapped in it, if you check out his posts.

Thanks! I have received some raised eyebrows from my LS friends but I don't care! My truck is LS equipped, and I love it, but there's just something about LT's....

Thanks for the compliments. Welcome to the site.

Third gens swaps are the best, but I may be biased. Let me know if you have any questions during the swap. I look forward to pics of the progress.
