    Default big HP

Hey I have a 97 z28 with a vortech v1 supercharger running 5psi. my dad just bought a 2002 zo6 and i want to be faster. he can still walk me pretty easly and he is now starting some mods. the thing is i need to squeez about 100hp out of the car with out running nos or building the engine. the engine runs really strong and is very well maintained but it does have 145k miles on it. what should i do to get the hp i need.

3.125" pulley (I have one if you want)
    1.6 rr's
    electric waterpump
EDIT: Headers of any type, preferrably full length.

You should be around 410rwhp with that stuff. I made 406/413 with just LTs and the 3.125" pulley. The car only had 30k miles though, which is why I put you at 410. Plenty enough to walk it.

any ideas? if its not in my sig i don't have it done. do you think some headers and bigger tb and 1.6 rockers will make a big difference?

A bigger TB won't do much for you at 5 psi. Usually a bigger TB is recommended with a bigger engine. A smaller pulley is cheaper anyway.

Honestly just figure out why it's not making boost and you will easily pull him. You have too be losing boost somewhere...

I made 6psi with a stock LT1, 6" crank, 3.33" blower pulley only difference from your car is I had Edelbrock shorties. I would think you should at least be at 7 or 8 psi.

    Is your set up INTERCOOLED?

Did you check all the tubing/hose clamps?
