8.957 @ 151.6 so there is a new record in town
I just got home from Byron IL and I met a few new people there. It's always nice putting a face with a screen name
But the point of the thread is I just went 8.957 @ 151.6
60' 1.349
330 3.738
1/8 5.742
mph 122.46
1000' 7.478
1/4 8.957
mph 151.60
Heres the slips of the day
The last pass is on the left which was leaving on the plate, fogger on in 0.1 seconds. The center one was with the same set up but had traction problems from the ricers going thru the water box. The one on the right was the first pass leaving on the plate with the fogger coming on in 0.6 seconds. I added 1 degree of timing per pass and this is the same jet combo I had at the shootout. So far 10.576 @ 128.64 on a 1.563 short time. N/A.8.957 @ 151.60 on a 1.349 60' timeTHE FIRST 8 SECOND NITROUS POWERED LT1

I'm running a .028n/.022f (@ 4.5 PSI) in the fogger and a .055n/.048f (@ 4 PSI) in the plate. The next time out I'm going to put a set .030 jets on the nitrous side of the fogger and leave the fuel pressure and jet the same. If the plugs still have a little color after that I'm going to either put a .060n jet or a .042 jet in the plate.
Haven't had it on the dyno. I would like to get some numbers but haven't felt like spending the money to make some pulls. I think this cam like the bottle.Last edited by jakesz28; 06-28-2009 at 11:02 PM.

Thanks. I must say it felt good. Now that I'm leaving on everything that I have I need to make some adjustments and get the sixty foot down in the 1.2x range. With the .6 second delay it left real soft and smooth. On the 8.957 pass it hit the converter better but spun a little and the front end only lifted about 6-8 inches.
