Congratulations to a Forum Member
Call911, a member on here that many know, as of last Tuesday the 24th of February, was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Air Force. He's worked a long hard road to get to where he is, and is about to take the next long hard road via UPT Pilot Training at Columbus AFB for the next 13 months enroute to his permanent assignment as a KC-135 Reserve Pilot at Grissom ARB IN.
I was fortunate enough to be able to Attend his commissioning ceremony this week, and was flattered and honored when he selected me to be his first official salute as an officer. Hopefully he'll get me the pics sometime soon and I'll post them up. We got video of the actual ceremony and a good pic of the two of us after the parade.
Those of you who know him, take a moment to congratulate him, and those that don't, do the same!

Congrats! Grissom is near my home town of Logansport IN. I remember being very young and watching the A10's dogfight right over our farm. Obviously I have seen my fair share of the KC-135's as well.
